My passion for fitness started at a young age, thanks to my mother who taught me the importance of moving my body, especially before engaging in any sedentary activity. Throughout my adolescent years, I played basketball, volleyball, football, and ran track. However, upon graduating, I was left without school sports so I decided to take up bodybuilding. I instantly fell in love with the process and successfully competed in bikini competitions for some time. Learning how to dial in my body composition opened the door for me to work full time in the fashion & fitness modeling field which required constant travel. I quickly learned that when you're always going, getting a good work out in and eating right can feel impossible, but I quickly welcomed the challenge to create new meal ideas and workout modalities on the go.
After I became burnt out from traveling 24/7, I decided to switch careers and obtained my NASM personal training certification so that I could share my passion for fitness with others. Because fueling the body properly is important to me and a huge component in living a healthy lifestyle, I also obtained my NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist certification as well as my NASM Weight Loss specialization to better assist my clients. I also have a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Utah which has helped me better understand and adjust clients' way of thinking which ultimately drives their habits and way of life. I have had the privilege of training clients since 2011 and continue to educate myself in different ways to better serve them.
I enjoy working with clients of all ages who are looking to lose weight, increase muscle mass, or simply want to live a healthier lifestyle for longevity. My first priority is my clients' happiness and well being, and I thrive on helping each and every client feel better about the way they look, the way they think, and the overall quality of their lives.
